CAREC Senior Officials' Meeting 2022

On 28th June 2022, the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) senior officials discussed the following program progress and new initiatives: (1) CAREC Post Pandemic Framework for Green, Sustainable, and Inclusive Recovery; (2) Cooperation Framework for Agricultural Development and Food Security in the CAREC Region; (3) CAREC Green Energy Alliance; and (4) CAREC RCI and Climate Change Scoping Study. The meeting was represented by the following CAREC member countries: People’s Republic of China, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The People’s Republic of China Deputy Director-General, Ministry of Finance and CAREC National Focal Point Jin Lu, CWRD DG Eugenue Zhukov, and EARD DG M. Teresa Kho co-chaired the meeting.
