CAREC Energy Sector Coordinating Committee Meeting (March 2018)
The energy sector group of CAREC, represented by about 60 delegates, gathered for its 27th meeting in Ashgabat on 13-14 March and discussed ongoing activities to develop the East-Central Asia-South Asia regional energy market; a strategy and roadmap for high technology; and a framework for CAREC 2030 energy sector strategy to minimize the negative impact of disruptive technologies.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) Central and West Department Energy Division (CWEN) Director Ashok Bhargava and ADB Country Director to Turkmenistan Cevdet Denizer led an ADB delegation to the CAREC energy meeting.
