CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2019
This publication presents the analysis of data on the efficiency of the six Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) transport corridors as part of the 2019 Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM).
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2018
This report analyzes 2018 data from the Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) mechanism that assesses the efficiency of the six CAREC transport corridors.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2017
Using data gathered from real-time road and rail cargo shipments, the corridor performance measurement and monitoring (CPMM) mechanism monitors and assesses the efficiency of the six CAREC transport corridors that link the 11 CAREC country members—Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, the People’s Republic of China, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. It shows where shipments are moving faster along the corridors and helping business do better, while also pinpointing where delays and blockages are hindering rapid and cost-effective trade
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2016
Since 2009, CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) captures trade facilitation indicators to assess the efficiency of transport and border-crossing points across CAREC corridors. Based on trip samples submitted by participating carrier and forwarder associations from CAREC countries, CPMM analyzes the relative performance of each CAREC corridor using time/cost-distance methodology and identifies the bottlenecks and constraints in the movement of goods across the region. In 2016, customs clearance and loading/unloading fees remain costly for trucks as transloading, customs, and commercial inspections for trains. Declining fuel prices, prompted a price competition between transport operators resulting in lower transport costs.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2015
This report is based on trip samples submitted by national transport associations from CAREC member countries that include performance metrics on cargo transport in the region. The data are then aggregated to show the relative performance of each CAREC corridor.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2014
This report is based on trip samples submitted by national transport associations from CAREC member countries that include performance metrics on cargo transport in the region. The data are then aggregated to show the relative performance of each CAREC corridor.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring: A Forward-Looking Retrospective
This report describes how CAREC corridor performance measurement and monitoring (CPMM) helps to achieve the objectives of the CAREC Transport and Trade Facilitation Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2013
Based on data submitted by national transport associations from CAREC member countries and using time-cost-distance methodology, the report focuses on measuring time and costs incurred in transporting various types of goods across Central Asia.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2012
The report provides valuable statistical data to evaluate freight flows and costs along the six CAREC transport corridors. Adopted in 2007 as part of CAREC’s Transport and Trade Facilitation Strategy, CPMM supports policy reforms to improve transport links and facilitate trade between CAREC member countries
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Annual Report 2011
This report is based on trip samples submitted by national transport associations from CAREC member countries that include performance metrics on cargo transport in the region.
CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Coordinators' Training
CPMM coordinators and CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations (CFCFA) member association staff were updated on the refinements and enhancements of the CPMM methodology, such as revisions to data collection procedures, report preparation, and administrative arrangements.
Workshop on CAREC Corridors Performance Measurement and Monitoring, Time Release Study, and Behind-the-Border Indicators
The workshop gathered experts from development partners to discuss the continuing improvement of the CAREC Corridors Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) and promote the broader use of CPMM data in CAREC countries.
CAREC Corridors Performance Measurement and Monitoring Workshop
In the meeting, CAREC Corridors Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) partner associations underscored the importance of increasing CPMM stakeholder awareness and use and collecting behind–the–border indicators
Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring International Workshop: CAREC Experience and International Prospects
Workshop participants reviewed and shared the experience in conducting CPMM under the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program since 2009. They discussed how to maximize use of the CPMM data in increasing efforts to facilitate trade, and how to introduce CPMM in other subregions.
Workshop on Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring and CAREC Results-Based Framework
The third workshop on Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) was held to improve the quality of data collection and gather detailed feedback on preliminary findings of the 2009 3rd Quarter CPMM Report.
Workshop on CAREC Corridors Performance Measurement and Monitoring and Establishment of CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations
The workshop focused on approaches to improve data collection and analysis for monitoring transport and trade activities along the six CAREC transport corridors.
