CAREC Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring Methodology Review and Knowledge Sharing Workshop
A session at the 11th Asia Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum
The CAREC event on Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) Methodology Review and Knowledge Sharing Workshop will be held at the sidelines of the 11th Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on 4 April 2024, 1:30 pm–4:30 pm. Interested participants may also join online via Zoom. Please register here.
The CAREC Integrated Trade Agenda 2030 framework supports enhancing the measurement of at-the-border and behind-the-border procedures to promote lower trade costs and more effective trade facilitation in the region. In line with this, the workshop discussion will revolve around the improvements of the CPMM methodology, along with demonstrating how the CPMM data can inform policy recommendations.
The CAREC Program conducted a review of the CPMM to (i) identify weaknesses and gaps and (ii) make recommendations to address these weaknesses. This workshop will present the findings of the methodology review and seek feedback from CPMM’s various stakeholders. It will also provide an overview to other stakeholders of how CPMM can aid in policy formulation with its database and the potential information it can offer after implementing the recommendations.
