CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee Regional Meeting on Development of Simplified Transit Systems This meeting was part of ADB's ongoing support for the implementation of the 7-point Common Action Plan endorsed in August 2002 by the Customs Cooperation Committee.
Second CAREC Ministerial Conference Under the established Overall Institutional Framework (OIF), this high-level conference reviewed the progress in regional cooperation activities since the First Ministerial Conference on CAREC held on March 2002. It also sought to provide guidance and direction to the OIF and its future activities.

CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee Regional Workshop on Risk Management and Post-Entry Audit The workshop was a combination of training and group discussion on risk management and post-entry audit which was an integral item in the Common Action Plan.
CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee Regional Seminar on Trade Facilitation and Customs Modernization The seminar was a combination of training and group discussion on three agenda items of the CAP: joint-border processing, transit, and ICT for information sharing and customs modernization.
Informal Donor Coordination Meeting The objectives were to discuss outlook on regional cooperation in Central Asia, share information on the activities and plans among donor agencies, and explore ways to strengthen donor coordination.
CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee Working Group Meeting The 5-day meeting consisted of 2 days of plenary sessions chaired by the heads of the PRC and Uzbekistan delegations, 2 days of breakout sessions facilitated by ADB staff and resource persons, and a concluding session on the last day for the heads of country delegations to finalize and endorse the draft work program.
Second Road Working Group Meeting on Regional Cooperation in Transport Projects in Central Asia Regions The meeting, under the technical assistance for Regional Cooperation in Transport Projects in Central Asia, was attended by 18 delegates from the People's Republic of China , the Kyrgyz Republic, and Uzbekistan.
Customs Cooperation Committee Regional Capacity Building Seminar The purpose of the seminar was to help the participants gain knowledge on modern customs practices and on major international efforts to facilitate trade to strengthen institutional capacity of customs administrations.
