CAREC National Focal Points (NFPs) endorsed the new CAREC logo at the NFPs’ consultation meeting held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on 21–22 September 2017.

The new logo retains the CAREC Program’s essence and brand identity. The eleven red stripes represent the eleven CAREC member countries. The six orange stripes in the previous logo have been merged into one single block to represent CAREC’s development partners’ support to the CAREC program.

The new logo better reflects CAREC’s enhanced mandate to serve as an open and inclusive platform for all stakeholders, including multilateral and bilateral donors, think tanks, private sector, and civil society, among others. As stated in the CAREC 2030 strategy, all stakeholders are welcome to contribute to the CAREC program on an equal footing.
