CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations Meeting and Business Networking Forum

CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations (CFCFA) members and partners met at the sidelines of the 4th China-Eurasia Expo to review progress, prepare a work plan for 2015, and elect officers.

Participation in the 4th China-Eurasia Expo served as the CFCFA Business Networking Forum.

The forum enabled representatives of logistics, transport, and trading companies from all CAREC countries to meet with credible and capable business partners to explore opportunities for collaboration.

The CAREC Program works with the private sector to facilitate regional trade. Together with the CFCFA, CAREC seeks to improve coordination among transport and trade logistics service providers, their customers, and regulators.

This is a key aspect of implementing the CAREC Transport and Trade Facilitation Strategy and CAREC 2020, which aim to improve the performance and maximize the economic benefits of CAREC corridors by expanding trade and enhancing competitiveness.
