4th Technical Working Group Meeting on CAREC Advanced Transit System’s Pilot Phase Implementation
On 15-16 April, CWRC organized the 4th Technical Working Group Meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Customs officials from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan discussed the testing phase implementation of the CAREC Advanced Transit System and Information Common Exchange (CATS/ICE). The meeting deliberated on the outcomes of the conformance testing and the draft agreement to facilitate the implementation of the system and agreed to test complex transit scenarios and report the progress of the testing at the 23rd CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee Meeting.
