Virtual Country Consultation Meeting on CAREC Free Trade Agreements
On 7 September 2021 Government officials from 10 CAREC countries joined the Virtual Country Consultation Meeting on CAREC Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to discuss key stakeholders’ feedback to confirm if the identified FTA priorities are aligned with the national priorities of each CAREC country and to identify challenges and opportunities for CAREC in moving towards a regional CAREC FTA. The TA capacity building component was launched, and countries’ delegates actively participated in discussions and provided valuable comments and feedback. It is supported by the TA on Strengthening Knowledge and Capacities for the Design and Implementation FTA Involving CAREC Countries.
