Virtual CAREC Workshops on Digital Skills and Virtual Connectivity for CAREC Related Agencies in Pakistan

A series of workshops was conducted between 8^th and 24^th February 2022 for CAREC related government agencies in Pakistan. These workshops were conducted by the CAREC Secretariat as part of the ongoing Virtual CAREC initiative. The workshops had a cumulative attendance from over 80 officials, almost half of whom were women, from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, Universal Service Fund, Pakistan Software Export Board, and the Virtual University. The sessions covered various virtual tools such as advanced features in Zoom, collaborating using MS Teams, and improving connectivity for virtual meetings. The Virtual CAREC initiative is being implemented under ADB TA 6602: Supporting Startup Ecosystem in the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Region to Mitigate Impact of COVID-19 and Support Economic Revival.
