CAREC Session on Sustainable Tourism Development in the ADB Annual Meeting
Asian Development Bank (ADB) Vice-President Shixin Chen addressed a high-level seminar that deliberated on a regional approach for sustainable tourism in the CAREC region. Participants suggested identifying concrete regional investment projects and initiatives to unlock the untapped tourism potential of the region.
ADB Central and West Asia Department Director General Liepach and East Asia Department Deputy Director General M. Teresa Kho participated in the seminar. ADB governors and other senior officials from CAREC countries and development partners attended the seminar.
