CAREC Logistics Training
The CAREC trade facilitation team and the Asian Development Bank Tajikistan Resident Mission (TJRM) held a short course for shippers, freight forwarders, and supply chain managers.
The training showed participants how to cope with delays along CAREC corridors, reduce losses in transit of perishables, and minimize empty backhauls.
TJRM Country Director C.C. Yu delivered the opening remarks.
The training aimed to raise the level of professionalism, efficiency, and management skills of carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies in the region.
It focused on supply chain management, multimodal transport, and trade logistics management and development.
ADB organized the training in coordination with the Association of International Automobile Transport of Tajikistan.
