Virtual Technical Assistance Inception Workshop on CAREC Free Trade Agreements
Representatives from 11 CAREC countries joined the first virtual Regional Technical Assistance (TA) Inception Workshop on CAREC Free Trade Agreements (FTA) on 19 May.
The inception workshop was designed to kickstart the regional TA work which aims to conclude a CAREC-wide FTA in the near future.
EAPF Director Emma Fan delivered the opening remarks, and CAREC Unit Head Saad Paracha gave the closing remarks.
The inception workshop was supported by the TA on Strengthening Knowledge and Capacities for the Design and Implementation FTA Involving CAREC Countries, cofinanced by the PRC Fund and ARTCF Fund.
