Country Consultation on Gender Strategy (Afghanistan, the People's Republic of China, Mongolia, Pakistan)
Gender specialists from Afghanistan, the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia, and Pakistan, along with representatives from key government agencies, joined the first virtual consultation meeting on the CAREC Gender Strategy 2030.
The draft strategy was presented, including rational, vision, mission and objectives, entry points for gender mainstreaming into CAREC operational clusters, proposed institutional framework, results framework, and next steps. Participants provided guidance on proposed strategy directions. CAREC Unit Head Saad Paracha delivered the opening remarks.
