A mission co-led by Sean O’Sullivan, director general, Asian Development Bank (ADB) Central and West Asia Department, and Ayumi Konishi, director general, ADB East Asia Department, held a series of consultations on a new long-term strategy for CAREC with key stakeholders in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

Weihua Liu, deputy director general, Ministry of Finance, and CAREC national focal point for PRC, co-chaired a workshop with key government ministries and agencies.

Hong Wei, deputy director general, ADB CWRD, also attended the workshop. Ben Bingham, country director, ADB PRC Resident Mission, delivered the opening remarks.
