Wuhan Action Plan Workshop: 2013 Priority Actions

The Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Unit of the Asian Development Bank’s Central and West Asia Department organized the Wuhan Action Plan (WAP) Workshop. The workshop was the first work-planning activity for CAREC national focal point (NFP) advisors and regional cooperation coordinators (RCC).

Participants reviewed WAP priorities and their implication for each CAREC country, and formulated 2013 results-based action plans to ensure alignment with the WAP.

A half-day communications and media session was also held to help enhance the participants’ effectiveness in raising the profile of the CAREC Program by delivering consistent key messages in a clear and effective manner, responding quickly and effectively to media requests, and proactively engaging the media.
