CAREC Customs Risk Management Workshop

The 3-day workshop was attended by 64 customs officials from Kazakhstan to enhance their capacity to modernize risk management techniques.

The workshop is part of a regional technical assistance, funded by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, which aims to align customs trade facilitation measures with best practices.

Gosman Amrin, chairman of the customs control committee of Kazakhstan, and Asel Chyngysheva, officer-in-charge of the Asian Development Bank’s Kazakhstan Resident Mission, delivered the opening remarks.
