17th CAREC Trade Policy Coordinating Committee Meeting

Representatives of the 10 CAREC member countries handling trade policy issues and activities, together with multilateral institution partners addressed the following topics: (i) emerging patterns of trade and cross-border cooperation through borderless bazaars and regional integration, (ii) World Trade Organization (WTO) training workshops, (iii) progress in the implementation of the Trade Policy Strategic Action Plan, and (iv) the future work program of the Trade Policy Coordinating Committee.

The Government of the People’s Republic of China and the International Monetary Fund co-chaired the meeting.
