Consultation Workshop on New Long-Term CAREC Strategy (Turkmenistan)
Consultations were held with key stakeholders in Turkmenistan on a new long- term strategy for CAREC.
A mission led by Hong Wei, deputy director general, Asian Development Bank (ADB) Central and West Asia Department, met with Turkmenistan Minister of Economy and Development Batyr Bazarov.
A consultation workshop involving key government ministries and agencies was convened in Ashgabat. In addition, individual meetings were held with the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, and selected development partners.
Ahmet Cevdet Denizer, country director, ADB Turkmenistan Resident Mission, participated in the mission.
