Consultation Meeting with the CAREC National Focal Points (2012)
National focal points of eight CAREC member countries attended the consultation meeting and discussed (i) recommendations on the future of the CAREC Institute, (ii) the proposed approach for transport facilitation in the CAREC region, and (iii) preparations for the 11th Ministerial Conference on CAREC.
The meeting was moderated by Klaus Gerhaeusser, director general, Central and West Asia Department, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Robert Wihtol, director general, East Asia Department, ADB.
