CAREC Integrated Trade Agenda 2030: Stakeholders Consultation Workshop for People's Republic of China

Consultations with People’s Republic of China (PRC) trade-related agencies discussed the direction, priorities, and the importance of CAREC Integrated Trade Agenda (CITA) 2030 and its Rolling Strategic Action Plan in delivering the outcomes under CAREC 2030.

Senior PRC officials from trade-related agencies acknowledged the alignment of CITA with PRC’s open trade thrust and shared vision with the Belt and Road Initiative. Asian Development Bank highlighted the importance of trade in helping the CAREC region support growth, create jobs, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
