CAREC Institute Workshop on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Modernization
CAREC Institute supported a workshop on modernizing sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) measures for trade regulators in Turkmenistan.
Experts from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and World Trade Organization, recruited through a technical assistance promoting SPS measures in CAREC, conducted the workshop.
Muhammetgeldi Atayev, director of the Institute for Strategic Planning and Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Asian Development Bank (ADB) alternate governor for Turkmenistan, and Plamen Bozakov, ADB country director for Turkmenistan, delivered opening remarks.
