CAREC Advanced Transit System Prototype Phase: Round Table Discussion with Insurance Companies

In preparation for the implementation of the CAREC Advanced Transit System (CATS) pilot under RETA 9162: Implementation of Trade Facilitation Initiatives in Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program, a consultation meeting was organized among insurance companies from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan to discuss various options for a transit guarantee mechanism.

The new mechanism offers risk-based and comprehensive guarantees to reduce time and cost of transit trade.
