Overview

Central Asia rebuilds the ancient transport and trade routes that once connected Eurasia, the region is poised to recapture its place as a center of trade and commerce. Under the CAREC Program, a further $21 billion in investments will energize a new network of six transport and trade corridors that will connect the major economic centers of the region. This brochure highlights that in 2008-2012, major transport investments will focus on Corridors 1 and 2.
