The Transport and Trade Facilitation Strategy supports Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program’s goal of development through cooperation, leading to accelerated economic growth and poverty reduction by upgrading key transport corridors across the CAREC region. It also ensures efficient movement of goods along the corridors through targeted actions to simplify and harmonize the regulations that govern cross-border trade in the region.
