Promoting Gender Equality in the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Region

Summary

The proposed knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will initiate the implementation of the CAREC Gender Strategy 2030 and promote gender equality measures and people-to-people contacts (linked to objective 3 of the Gender Strategy 2030) under the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program. The TA, involving all 11 CAREC member countries, will be aligned with the following impact: inclusive regional economic growth in CAREC enhanced, and the outcome: gender equality and women's economic empowerment improved in the CAREC region
