Logistics Development and Capacity Building in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

Summary

The technical assistance (TA) was designed at the request of the Government of the People’s Republic of China to support the development of the logistics industry in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR), and more broadly, expansion of trade with Central Asia republics.

Expected Outcome

A strategy is adopted and implemented to develop the logistics industry in XUAR.

Expected Outputs

Expected outputs include a logistics development strategy, a master plan to implement the strategy, and a preliminary list of investments to develop logistics industry in XUAR.
