Feasibility Study of Borovoe–Petropavlovsk Road Rehabilitation Project in Kazakhstan
Summary
The technical assistance (TA) assisted the Government of Kazakhstan in preparing a proposal to improve the road from Borovoe to Petropavlovsk. It supplements and reviews the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB)-financed feasibility study of the Borovoe-Petropavlovsk Road Rehabilitation Project.
Expected Outcome
The TA also assesses national road maintenance needs and develops a conceptual plan for a national pavement management system (NPMS), and prepares a report on the feasibility of the project and details of the NPMS plan.
