Europe and the CIS Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) initiative

Summary

The Sustainable Energy for All Initiative is an action-focused global network supported by partner organizations from governments, national and international organizations, businesses and civil society organizations. The regional initiative covers Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan as CAREC countries.The program is to support countries and provide policy and advisory technical assistance as well as research and development assistance.

Expected Outcome

The initiative aims to achieve three main objectives by 2030: ensure universal access to modern energy services, double the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix, and double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency.
