Summary

The technical assistance produced

• an Asian Development Bank (ADB) report on Central Asia regional cooperation in trade, transport, and transit; and
• a chapter on regional cooperation in trade, transport, and transit for the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) Central Asia Human Development Report.

Expected Outcome

The technical assistance will support increased regional economic cooperation in Central Asia and enhance analytical work in trade, transport, and transit.

Expected Outputs

• ADB report, Central Asia: Increasing Gains from the Trade through Regional Cooperation in Trade Policy, Transport, and Customs Transit, was published; and
• chapter produced for UNDP's Central Asia Human Development Report: Bringing Down Barriers.
