CAREC Institute, 2009–2012
Summary
The CAREC Institute was initially established as a virtual institute supported by the CAREC Secretariat through this technical assistance (TA) to enhance the quality of regional cooperation by generating and sharing knowledge solutions in the priority areas of transport, energy, trade facilitation and trade policy under the CAREC Program.
Expected Outcome
Enhanced capacity of CAREC government officials and development institutions to support regional economic cooperation through better policy formulation and implementation
Expected Outputs
- Effective functioning and consolidation of the CAREC Institute as a premier virtual institution in regional cooperation for (i) training and capacity development; (ii) research, and (iii) dialogue to support the CAREC Program.
- Midterm independent performance review of the CAREC Institute
