Atyrau Airport Project

Summary

The project covers

• rehabilitation of the main runway and associated investments to improve operations at the airport;
• assistance to the airport company to improve financial management; and
• assistance to the Ministry of Transport & Communications with the legal and regulatory environment of air transport in Kazakhstan.

Expected Outcome

The project will improve efficiency and commercialization of operations at Atyrau Airport, and will implement changes in the legal and regulatory environment of air transport in Kazakhstan.
