The article elaborates that Tajikistan has shown positive results in terms of promoting women's rights and developing women's entrepreneurship through taking measures to ease the entrepreneurial burden for women. These measures have included exemption of women entrepreneurs from taxation during maternity leave; amendments and additions have been made to the rules of taxation of individual entrepreneurs running their businesses at home; and abolishment of the state fee for the registration of business entities and reducing costs. Attention was also paid to the participation of female entrepreneurs in agricultural development, because Tajikistan is an agrarian country, attracting women to develop their activities in this sector will push the development of the sector as a whole.
