 Azerbaijan continues the initiatives on the stimulation of startups
Azerbaijan is continuing initiatives for the stimulation of startups. During Baku ID Summer'22 (Baku Investment Day), the main startup and innovation event in Azerbaijan, organized by SABAH.lab and aimed to drive the startup ecosystem forward, 25,000 manat ($14,721) have been allocated to 18 projects each.

Georgia and Kazakhstan plan to cooperate in IT sphere
During the official meeting of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on July 27, 2022, a memorandum of understanding between the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups and Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency was signed.

 Uzbekistan introduces mobile-ID identification system for individuals
Uzbekistan introduces a Mobile-ID personal identification system that envisages the identification of a person by means of his mobile phone number. Identification of a person using the Mobile-ID system is carried out at the request of citizens of the Public Service Centers or notary offices or through the EPIGU mobile application.
