CAREC Program Publishes Digital Strategy 2030  
The CAREC Program has published its CAREC Digital Strategy 2030. The strategy aims to create a common digital space for the CAREC region to accelerate economic growth and digital transformation. The CAREC Digital Strategy Steering Committee is being formed to provide the overall leadership and necessary institutional framework for the implementation of the strategy. 
Girls from Central Asia Launched Nanosatellites into the Stratosphere
More than 150 girls from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, participants of the UniSat (Uni stands for UNICEF, Sat stands for satellite) educational program launched three ultra-modern nanosatellites into the stratosphere for air pollution analysis. Nanosatellites were created by girls as part of a 10-day marathon at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. For more about the UniSat participants experience, read here.
Georgia to Host Startup Central Eurasia Summit on 14-15 April 2022
Startup Central Eurasia Summit will take place offline and online in Georgia on 14 – 15 April 2022. During a two-day intensive program participants will get to know the Central Eurasian startup ecosystem, the best startups, investors and innovative companies in the region. Invited experts include representatives of State authorities and technology parks of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan to Host Take Off Startup Summit
The Take Off Startup Summit will be held for the first time in Baku on May 26 –28 this year as part of the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival, organized jointly by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. Invest2Innovate Releases Pakistan Startup Ecosystem Report 2021
Invest2Innovate, an Islamabad-based startup data tracking and support platform, released its Pakistan Startup Ecosystem Report 2021 including insights from key ecosystem stakeholders like entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers. Kazakhstan's First Fintech Accelerator Attracted Startups and Fintech Companies 
The First fintech Accelerator for banks in Kazakhstan organized by AIFC Tech Hub jointly with the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) and the Mastercard international payment system attracted over 300 applications (of which 272 are relevant) from startups from 11 countries: 75% Russia, 20% Kazakhstan, 5% from other countries such as Belarus, Ukraine, Singapore, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Poland, Estonia and the USA. Uzbekistan Invites the World "to Establish a Practical Cooperation with the New Uzbekistan” 
Uzbekistan vowed to become a middle-income country by 2030 at the Tashkent International Investment Forum and committed to regularly meet with the Council of Foreign Investors, and communicate directly with investors and entrepreneurs of all sectors and regions using crowd-sharing platforms and digital solutions.
