Investment up to $100,000 for Enterprises from Kyrgyzstan
Enterprises in the field of energy efficiency and resource conservation are invited to take part in an open competition of business projects under “Accelerate Prosperity ASIA” Project. The Project aims to develop entrepreneurship and improve the economic well-being of the rural population in Kyrgyzstan. Applications are open in Russian and Kyrgyz languages until February 10, 2022.

Eurasia Foundation — Innovative Solutions Grants (Kazakhstan)
The Eurasia Foundation (EF) announces Innovative Solutions Grants (ISG) in support of civil society organizations in Kazakhstan. Grants are designed to support the projects based on new ideas, strategies and/or technologies that contribute to the solution of socially significant problems. ISG projects are eligible for funding at a maximum of 25,000 USD. Applications for the upcoming two cycles will be reviewed with deadlines of 6 and 28 February 2022.

China Plans to Roll Out its Own NFT Sector
China's state-backed Blockchain Services Network (BSN) intends to launch the BSN Distributed Digital Certificate infrastructure (BSN-DDC). To differentiate it from crypto-transacted non-fungible tokens (NFTs), it will allow businesses and individuals to create own token management apps and portals. The platform will only allow Chinese yuan for purchases and service fees.

Recreation of Uzbekistan’s Greatest Landmark in Minecraft 
Samarkand Registan, the most famous landmark of Uzbekistan was reconstructed in the video game Minecraft. It took more than 1 year and 15 million digital blocks to virtually recreate the landmark. The Minecraft Registan is part of the Cultural Wonders Project, which aims to bring the world's architectural wonders to a wider online audience making cultural exchange accessible through the development of digital tourism.

Pakistan will Issue Digital Bank Licenses from March
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that it would grant up to five licenses for digital banks in the country from March this year. Through digital banking, the SBP aims to promote inclusion, innovation, and modernization of the financial sector of the country by providing affordable financial services and customer experiences. The Bank plans to provide any support required in this regard to individuals and businesses.

Tbilisi Hosted Global Game Jam Georgia
Tbilisi, Georgia's capital, hosted a local edition of Global Game Jam, "the world's largest game creation event", where participants challenged themselves to create digital or physical games in 48 hours with a winning project set to earn 5000 GEL ($1600/€1400) in prize money. Similar events took place at the very same time at 600+ locations in 100+ countries across the globe - New York City, Shanghai, London, Toronto, New Delhi etc.
