Overview
This strategy aims to achieve a more open economy, a necessary step toward effective development and poverty reduction. Under this objective, the two main areas of action are to support efforts to achieve World Trade Organization membership and to simplify and liberalize the trade regime. The second objective is capacity building and knowledge transfer related to trade and trade policy.
