Training of Trainers on how to Design, Negotiate and Implement FTAs in CAREC Region (Second Physical/Hybrid Phase)
Over 30 trade officials from 10 CAREC countries attended the CAREC Regional Training of Trainers Course on Free Trade Agreements (FTA TOT) in Tbilisi, Georgia on 26–28 January 2023. It was organized by ADB, in collaboration with CAREC Institute and UNESCAP. The regional FTA TOT is a blended learning program that consists of 12 online modules pre-recorded and posted in the CAREC Institute’s E-learning platform; and interactive in-person workshop. It aims to empowering CAREC countries’ FTA negotiators with technical expertise and skillsets that they can upgrade and integrate with their domestic trade policy and institutional settings.
