Strengthening Drug Regulatory Capacity to Ensure the Quality of Imported Medicines in CAREC Countries and the Caucasus (Workshop 2)

The expected outcome of the webinar series is to stimulate action to support national drug regulatory authorities in line with the objectives of the CAREC Health Strategy 2030; and strengthen capacity of national drug regulatory agencies. The first workshop will present and discuss the concept of risk-based approach to drug regulatory work. The second workshop will build on the outcome of the discussions of the first workshop, offer hands-on examples of risk-based approach implementation, and explore ways in which regional cooperation among drug regulatory authorities could contribute to ensuring quality and safety of medicines. The target audience are individuals involved in decision-making and management of medicines and vaccine regulation, import control, and laboratory testing of medicines and vaccines.
