CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations Regional Knowledge Sharing Forum

The CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations, Asian Development Bank People’s Republic of China Resident Mission, and CAREC Institute held the Regional Knowledge Sharing Forum—Exploring Avenues of Cooperation for Cross Border Trade Logistics and Facilitation.

The forum aimed to provide an opportunity for the private sector to interact with each other and share their practical experience and knowledge in various areas of trade operations. Various topics, including regional standardization, logistics development, cross-border supply chain development, and development of e-commerce for international trade, were presented.

Specific topics include the following:

  • Interpretation and research on CAREC nongovernmental organization standards
  • Cross-border e-commerce and logistics in CAREC
  • CAREC cross-border supply chain planning and thinking under the background of The Belt and Road
  • Best practices and knowledge sharing in CAREC Countries
  • Sharing on enterprise developing experience
  • The CFCFA experience in the implementation of the Corridor Performance and Measurement Monitoring
