Azerbaijan: Training on Establishing Pest Free Areas for Market Access
The training will discuss the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) for establishing PFAs and provide practical guidance in developing and implementing PFA programs to enable greater market access for plants and plant products. Expected participants are phytosanitary specialists of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) and Agricultural Services Agency (ASA).
The activity is supported by TA 9500: Modernizing Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures to Facilitate Trade, co-funded by the People’s Republic of China Poverty Reduction and Regional Cooperation Fund and Regional Cooperation and Integration Fund.
