Consultation Meeting with the CAREC National Focal Points

Bangkok, Thailand: 28 September 2012

National focal points (NFPs) of eight CAREC member countries attended the consultation meeting and discussed

• recommendations on the future of the CAREC Institute,
• the proposed approach for transport facilitation in the CAREC region; and
• preparations for the 11th CAREC Ministerial Conference.

The meeting was moderated by Asian Development Bank Director Generals Mr. Klaus Gerhaeusser of Central and West Asia Department and Mr. Robert Wihtol of East Asia Department.
