Summary:The technical assistance (TA) will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of key trade facilitation and private sector development activities under the CAREC Program.

  • National joint committees and regional joint committee set up
  • Corridor performance measurement and monitoring system established
  • Single-window scheme adopted and functioning effectively
  • Public and private partnership (PPP) opportunities developed to promote Integrated trade facilitation
  • CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations (CFCFA) established and its functions improved
  • CFCFA membership expanded to include representatives of all CAREC member countries
  • Corridor performance measurement and monitoring database expanded
  • Knowledge products developed
  • Improved TA management
