Western Regional Road Corridor Development Program - Tranche 1
Summary:Project 1 under the investment program will
  • construct 103.3 kilometers (km) of paved road between Baga Ulaan Davaa and Makhan;
  • establish and equip a maintenance center;
  • construct a 20 km local access road between district centers and the western regional road; and
  • provide training for maintenance planning and works, procurement, and project management.
Expected Outcome:The first project of the investment program will improve transport accessibility in the western region of Mongolia, contributing to the region’s economic growth.
Expected Outputs:
  • A 103.3 km paved road constructed between Baga Ulaan Davaa and Makhan;
  • fully equipped maintenance center established;
  • 20 km local access road constructed; and
  • training program provided.
