Asian Development Bank (ADB) participated in the First Almaty-Bishkek Economic Corridor Subcommittee Meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

Kyrgyz Republic Deputy Minister of Economy Almaz Sazbakov, ADB Kyrgyz Republic Resident Mission Country Director Candice McDeigan, and ADB Regional Cooperation and Operations Coordination Division Director Safdar Parvez opened the meeting, and ADB Tajikistan Resident Mission Country Director Pradeep Srivastava facilitated discussions.

Concrete steps for the implementation of the economic corridor were agreed in a government protocol and reported to the Prime Minister’s Kazakhstan–Kyrgyz Republic Intergovernmental Council.
